On this Christmas Eve-Eve, I want to thank you all so much for being part of the Time Travel Kitchen Advent Calendar. I loved having you here, and it was a lot of fun for me.
Tomorrow, the last window is opened, and I’ll post the entire “The Little Town” calendar on Christmas Eve.
Tonight I’ll keep this post short — I know everyone is busy and/or traveling.
When I looked around my kitchen today, it looked “unwell” after a very busy month.
I need a pantry reset going into the New Year.
So I’m sharing a post from two of my favorite writers here on Substack. They exude joy and purpose and always inspire me.
This video from chef and cookbook author
and author and co-founder of Refinery29, , stylishly presents the pantry as a place that when set up with certain staples, allows for great resourcefulness in your kitchen. Not to mention deliciousness. The video is within the post, thank you Colu and Christene.✨Final Installment: Writers on the Holidays
Holiday season immediately makes me think of a light snowfall and a crackling fire. ✨
I think of sledding down a hill in the snow and then running inside to warm up with a cup of hot cocoa.✨
Day 23 of “The Little Town” Advent Calendar.
See you tomorrow for the last window! 🎄
Jolene
I can’t wait for the big reveal of The Little Town calendar!! 🎁
Jolene--This has been so much fun reading along with you. Brilliant. I can't wait to see today's reveal. I don't know about you, but after my two catering events are done, my feet will raise along with a glass of something, and I plan to stare at the tree for about an hour this evening. Thank you for your delightful Substack and Merry Christmas!
