Jolene! I wasn't going to bake anymore but this post is tempting me to shift my resolve. Those ginger molasses cookies look so good! I've put Ms. Ptak's cookbook on the to-buy list. Maybe they'll get made in January, but boy, do they look good. Thank you for a superb post! ~Janet
You simply can’t have too many cookie recipes at this time of year, especially if they contain ginger, molasses, and a pinch of paprika (what a novel idea!). The crackly top on these is reminiscent of the ones my mother made. Oh dear, got SO much baking to do and too little time… Obviously, as you said, we’ll be baking til next December!
I like the idea of the Paprika. And the molasses is a great ingredient too. Ginger always! Enjoy the festivities. 🥳 🌲💫 I’ve really enjoyed all this Advent-ture. ♥️
What's funny is we thought we had decided not to order a fancy gourmet panettone this year... but after I had commented about it, and we looked at the website(s), and all... husband decided we needed to order one after all. (*And* he'll probably bake one himself, too!) Happy new year, Jolene! <3

Haha! So much baking, so little time!
I love the Bakery illustration, too! And ginger cookies---a must!🎄
Yes!
I want a cookie!
I wish I could hand you one, Judy!
My MOM, God / Odin / Jupiter bless her, never made Ginger snaps IIRC, she bought Entenmenn's.
I love the idea of a plethora of panettone! And I thought I was done with baking biscuits but I might have to change my mind.
These are REALLY good, Julia! “Plethora of Panettone” is a good turn of phrase!
Wonderful, Jolene! These look fantastic!

Hi, Stygi! So nice to see you here! The cookies are delicious, so try!
Ginger cookies are my favorite, and I love hearing how other writers celebrate the season. Thank you!
Thank you, Mary! The cookies are fantastic!
I love the generosity and joy expressed in Elizabeth Marro's memories. That's what the holidays should be - generosity, kindness, and food.
Thanks for another wonderful day of posts.
I thought it was lovely, too, Andrea.
Oh my... back to it...!
😂
Ahhh! Ginger Snaps are a personal fav! Sending this to my love so we can make them this weekend 😍😍😍 Thank you thank you
