This was such a fun read! The holidays mean something different to everyone, and you gave folks such a cool space to share their favorite holiday moments/traditions. Thanks for the shout out, Queen Jolene!
We’ve had an interesting year, highs (the birth of our first grandchild) lows losing our home to a hurricane. we have our faith renewed and do find joy in lots of places. And to honest you don’t have to look to hard!
Jolene--This may be my favorite post so far, because of your generosity and the generosity shared by others. This is a wonder and I am thoroughly delighted. Well done!
What a fabulous idea to share these traditions and recipes, Jolene! And isn’t it a wonder how reading about the memories of others awakens one’s own? I’m remembering my mother‘s gingerbread snaps that I loved so much after reading Amy Halloran’s recipe. Now I have to make some!
Such a touching range or responses. Love the Thiebaud painting, I don't think I have come across it before.
Thank you, Vicki, it’s so simple and pretty and “Thiebaud” 🎁
oh good now I know where to find the homemade Chex recipe
And thank goodness you did that gift exchange last month Leigh!!
👍 Me too!!

Listening to Christmas music while decorating my tree, and wrapping my presents. Father Christmas by the Kinks is a favorite.
Ha! Such a good song!

That’s a goodie! 🎶 🎄
Note to self: remember to eat BEFORE reading Jolene's newsletter.
