Joy is great; hers is one of the first baking blogs I ever discovered! Chocolate chip cookies remind me of baking with my mom as a child and they’re one of my favorite comfort bakes, so I’m definitely going to try out Joy’s recipe. Thanks for sharing it! 🍪

Joy had me at " Brown butter" and "former Angeleno" (my words... That's my California secret handshake .😂) Love brown butter! The French kept it a secret for too long. Now I wonder if the cat got out of the bag thanks to New Orleans.... Oh, and well done on your first thousand!

So much love for Joy and her cookies - when we were both living in Los Angeles she baked me a batch to snack on through my exams and they were hands down one of the best cookies I’ve ever had.
