I totally remember my grandmother making these for me when I was a child! How evocative food can be for the memories we cherish!

All the same lovely things are true for whipped cream! (I’ve even been known to eat it by itself! 😉)

Aaahhh, once again we return to the wonders of ice cream. The chameleon of dessert-time goodness. Alone, as a cake, on the side of a piece of pie, blended with milk, syrup and malt...versatile, agile...such dexterity!! Ah yes, ice cream!! It should have it's own month. I always love the photos of your efforts and research. This week's "centerfold" is so pretty. The dark chocolate wafers and the white of the creams, splashed with the colorful berries, it could be the National Flag of some Utopoian Confection Country, when life is just peace and sweets...and naps. Another great piece Jo...no pun intended. (btw...all hail Willis Carrier, who I believe invented the air conditioner).
