The historic photos and family connection are fascinating! I love how you connect them with the great recipes you share. The red and green decorating sugar sounds just perfect for the holidays too! I remember making icebox cookies years ago and now must make some again!

After seeing so many cakes and cookies and donuts parading in your posts, a question arises: who eats all that stuff?

We are a family of four including two voracious sons aged 21 and 18, so edible things - and especially sweets - don't last long. How about you?
