Happy Birthday, you time traveler and what an array of sweets to celebrate an equally sweet occasion!

It really is a treat to have such a vast reading audience. I’ve gone a bit retro lately, exchanging handwritten notes and recipes with some of my reader pen pals through snail mail. Let me know if you’re interested. (Handwritten correspondence would also be a nice activity on the train ride…)

Woohoo! Congrats on your newsletter's 3rd anniversary, Jolene! It is indeed a marvelous space to gather. I didn't know Nabisco discontinued the chocolate wafersβ€”aaach! I used them as cheesecake crust in addition to just eating box after box plain or crumbling over ice cream.

And the hot milk cake looks scrumptious.
